Our Process
A key element to your successful project is your input. It serves s a guide during the design of your home. We listen to what is important to you. Initially, we will meet on your property to discuss home location, and your vision. We will talk about how you will “live” on your property and in your home. We will discuss your project budget as well.
Architect Henry Zuckerman, will prepare a preliminary design, drawings, and sketches based upon your input for your review and comments.
At this point, the Architect will incorporate your comments into the final design drawings for your approval
After the final design has been agreed upon and approved by you, Stoneybrooke Homes will “bid” construction so we know exactly what your home will cost. Bidding your home includes you and Stoneybrooke Homes visiting various showrooms and suppliers to make selections for plumbing, appliances, lighting, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
When Stoneybrooke Homes has completed bidding your home, which includes quotes for all of the products and materials you have selected, we will prepare a detailed specification stipulating all of the products and materials that will be used in your home. A construction agreement and comprehensive warranty will also be provided.
We are now ready to begin construction of your dream home.
